I began to love Grayson Capps‘ music after seeing him perform in the movie „Love Song for Bobby Long“ with John Travolta – as many of his European fans did. After a few years in which Grayson only toured in Italy and the Netherlands (and the U.S.), I finally flew to Amsterdam to see him and Corky Hughes play live in 2017 – and he actually brought the guitar from the movie with him!
It was just great and the Scarlett Roses CD I bought and had autographed that night is still sitting on my living room dresser for me to see and adore every day. On of my many dreams is to go to Alabama and see Grayson Capps perform in one of his home town bars. Until then, videos must do. Like the one where he plays the beautiful song „Hold Me Darling“ on a Martin Guitar.
