There are very few music sheets to be found online for this particular tune, and this is the very first one for fingerstyle solo guitar. To arrange „Blue Tahitian Moon“ in a version that you can easily fingerpick and sing along to, I had to make some decisions.

The piano music sheet from the movie „Son of Fury“ (1942, Chappell) that I found is in the key of F while the Kenny Baker lead sheet on Chordify is in the key of F# (F sharp major). Then again, Frances Langford goes with the key of B in her recording, I believe. And Keira Knightley in the movie „The Edge of Love“ follows the 1942 version in the key of F, but sings it an octave higher.
So what was I supposed to do with that? I finally came up with this G major version with a sweet waltz vibe to it, which I am very happy with. Play the melody notes emphasized and strike the accompanying notes very gently – just like an island breeze. It’s also possible to replace the accompanying notes with a simple glissando of the chord in each bar. Both will sound beautiful.
